"Lila" is Sanskrit for divine play, which captures both the playfulness and gravity of the creative process. Lila began as two of James's meditative piano improvisations in the Anglican Cathedral of St. John the Baptist in Canada, and later Steve added a clarinet choir and subtle electronics.

Originally from Newfoundland, Canada, pianist and composer James Hurley lives in Bavaria Germany where he runs Più Piano School.
